Dear Picnics' Friends & Family, Our journey in Asheville has dramatically changed in 2009. Our sweet Mom Minnie has made her transition back to source energy. Mom's passion for life, especially Loving, baking,& family continues to thrive in us all. The past two years had challenged our ability to continue as Picnics Restaurant on Merrimon Ave.

My plans for 2010 include a new dessert venture, as well as baking Mom's fabulous Homemade Pies & Pastries. I am searching for the new perfect Picnics location. Please relay any information you may have regarding a Bakeshop in our beloved Asheville. A new decade with many possibilities. I am also planning to share a Picnics Cookbook, one of Mom's wishes coming soon.
